Project Steep Slope Stabilisation (Gully Erosion Repairs)
Client Albury City Council
Location Nail Can Hill, Albury, NSW
This slope initially presented with severe gully erosion (500mm - 600mm) extending the full length of the slope. A small dozer was used to rip, reshape and compact slope. The finish surface was then covered with jute mesh and coir logs placed to reduce running slope distance and to divert flows off into protected vegetated areas. Timber and scrub that was initially pushed up with dozer was then placed over the finish surface.
